Robert MacIntyre hit out at a TV drone being used as part of CBS Sports' PGA Tour coverage at last week's RBC Canadian Open, before the Scot went on to win his first title on the American-based circuit.
MacIntyre secured the Canadian crown by a single shot following Sunday's final round, seeing off the likes of Ben Griffin, Victor Perez and Rory McIlroy in the process. His final 18 holes were not without drama, though, after the Scot was left infuriated by a drone above his head on the par-four ninth.
With the Oban-born star stood over his ball, he soon stepped away from his shot as the flying camera buzzed above his head. "I'm not going to tell you again," MacIntyre was heard saying as his frustrations with the drone boiled over.

"I spoke to the rules official before." MacIntyre's father Dougie - who was acting as a stand-in caddie in Hamilton - then interjected, adding: "He has had to step away from his ball four times because of that thing." He had previously been left frustrated with the buzzing of the drone a day earlier, when finishing his third round at the 18th.

They did,” MacIntyre commented. “Next hole, I’m in the bunker, and sure enough everyone’s silent and all I hear is this buzzing again. I look up and here it is. And, I don’t know, one of the guys must have been getting sick of me.
"I just kept turning to him because I knew he was the man to go to when that drone starts annoying me because yesterday on 18 it was the same guy. And he just radioed, ‘Get that drone out of here.’” Despite his camera concerns, the Scot managed to hold his nerve, having been crowned champion nine holes later.
Having started the final round four shots clear from the chasing pack, his lead was cut in half after just one hole on Sunday. Having made bogey at one, his playing partner Griffin was able to make birdie, to leave the Scottish star just two shots ahead with 17 holes left to play.
He quickly settled himself at the top of the leaderboard though, making three birdies before the turn at the fourth, seventh and eighth. Another birdie then followed at the 11th, before his title charge was briefly halted with back-to-back bogeys at the 11th and 12th.
Despite slightly opening the door, the Ryder Cup star recomposed to end his week with a birdie and four pars, clinching the title by a single shot. In an emotional interview afterwards, MacIntyre said: "Goose bumps. It's incredible. It's a dream of mine to play golf for a living. It's been a dream of mine to win on the PGA Tour, when I got my PGA Tour card, and I just can't believe I done it with my dad on the bag. The guy's taught me the way I play golf. "
