POLAND could be wiped off the map in no more than 10 MINUTES, one of Vladimir Putin's stooges has warned.

Military analyst Konstantin Sivkov claimed in a chilling video that Russia would only need two nukes to eviscerate each major Polish city, making its people and language disappear.

Sivkov told a discussion panel on Russia 1, a state-backed broadcaster, that the Nato member is the "most realistic candidate" for a small nuclear theatre.

Calculating the damage, he said: "For example, let's look at Poland.

"This is the most realistic candidate which could become a small theatre of nuclear war.

"Are there 20 big cities there? I don't think so. If we allocate two nuclear missiles to each city, that's only 30-40 missiles.

"In 10-15 minutes, both the state of Poland and the Polish people will disappear. The Polish language will also disappear."

Russia's powerful Iskander missiles could be the weapon of choice, according to the military analyst.

The Mach 7 missiles have been previously sent to Vlad's close ally Belarus and could hit Warsaw in a matter of minutes.

Sivkov also claimed that the formation of such war theatre is thanks to the United States.

Unlike Europe, he said, America is distancing itself from being directly drawn into the conflict.

Sivkov said: "The United States of America strictly distances itself from granting the right to use its long-range weapons.

"We are talking about ATOM systems. This means that the Americans are pushing Europe to war. Turning Europe into a theatre of war."

The US could worsen this European war theatre by leaving Nato, a move the military analyst warned is convinced of.

Sivkov said: "It is absolutely clear that the United States dictates the will of NATO.

"And the US withdrawal from this position says one thing: the United States is preparing to implement a conflict between Europe and Russia."

But despite the terror threats and unlike much of Europe, Poland has been fiercely bolstering and modernising its army.

POSTER BOY POLAND

Retired British Army General Sir Richard Barrons told The Sun the UK must follow Poland's suit and drastically modernise its armed forces if it wants to stand a chance against Putin.

He said Poland has become Nato's "poster child" and is putting the UK to shame, with the nation increasing its troop and tank numbers and investing a massive 4 per cent of its GDP in its defence.

It has spent more than $16 billion (£12.7 billion) on tanks, missile interceptor systems and F-16 fighter jets in recent months - most of which were bought from the US and South Korea.

Poland's army has also drastically expanded in response to the Russian threat, with more than 175,000 troops standing by for an attack - up from 100,000 eight years ago.

And the nation's defence budget this year will be a record 137 billion zlotys (£27 billion) or 4 per cent of GDP on defence - the highest proportion in all of Nato.

Going an extra mile, Poland is also crafting a £2 billion 430-mile line of military defences to protect the rest of Nato from Russia.

THE TUSK LINE

The Tusk Line is set to be the largest effort to strengthen Poland's eastern border since 1945.

Minefields, anti-tank ditches and bunkers will shore up the country's eastern flank, bordered by Russia's Kaliningrad and Belarus.

A staunch supporter of Ukraine, the European country is looking to keep both Russia and its nefarious ally Belarus firmly at bay with a state-of-the-art defence line.

Polish PM Donald Tusk announced the new program to make Nato's eastern border “impassable to a potential enemy” earlier this month.

Last Monday defence minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz unveiled the specifics of the East Shield, dubbed the "Tusk Line" by Polish media.

In 10-15 minutes, both the state of Poland and the Polish people will disappear. The Polish language will also disappear.

The line of defence will include steel barriers, reinforced steel hedgehogs, pallisades, trenches, tank traps and planned minefields.

Defence chief Kamysz said yesterday: "The ‘East Shield’ deterrence and defence plan is the largest operation to strengthen the eastern border of Poland, the eastern flank of Nato, since 1945.

“It will be a combination of terrain conditions with fortifications and modern technology.”

He said the goal of the shield is to: “protect the territory of Poland, hamper the mobility of our adversary’s troops while making such mobility easier for our own troops and to protect civilians."

It will include “all kinds of fortifications, barriers, monitoring of the air space on every level and upgrading the existing systems".

Ukraine built its own line of defence with 42,000 concrete "dragon's teeth" along barbed wire-lined trenches.

The 600-mile wall is made from anti-tank obstacles, underground bunkers and fortified trenches.

Adding to The Tusk Line efforts, Poland will be one of six Nato nations planning to create a "drone wall" to shield the alliance's eastern flank from the growing threat of Russia.

WALL OF DRONES

Thousands of surveillance and possibly armed drones are set to patrol the tense frontier all the way from Norway to Poland.

Norway, Finland, the three Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, and Poland have agreed to create a shared drone border to protect the rest of Europe from incoming threats.

Elaborating on the plan to The Times, Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics said Europe has returned to the "darkest days of the Cold War".

He revealed that unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) will monitor attempts by Russia and Belarus to use large numbers of migrants as a "weapon" and other provocations.

Although he said the drones will mostly be used for reconnaissance, he did not rule out that armed drones may also be deployed.

Ministers from the six nations have already met to sign a proposal for the "wall".

Each country will be responsible for piloting its own defensive drones, but other details of the plan, including its funding, are still being ironed out.

Agne Bilotaite, Lithuania’s interior minister, said earlier this week: “This is a completely new thing.
