Arsenal have opened contract talks with Amario Cozier-Duberry, Karl Hein and Reuell Walters after announcing their retained list.
The Gunners have confirmed 19 players will be leaving the Emirates ahead of the summer transfer window. Just three of the stars who are out of contract have been approached over extending their stay.
Having just missed out on the Premier League title in the season just gone, boss Mikel Arteta is looking to retool the Gunners for another challenge. Arteta has been ruthless in his decision-making, with Mohamed Elneny and Cedric Soares both leaving.
The only ones to survive the cull are Cozier-Duberry, Hein and Walters. The decisions on the trio signify an apparent move to keep the squad fresh, with the Gunners announcing their talks in a statement.
"Ahead of the official Premier League announcement of all men’s players who will be out of contract at their current clubs on June 30, we are taking this opportunity to thank those players leaving us at the end of the month," the club said in a statement.

"We thank all the players leaving us for their contributions to the club. You will always be part of the Arsenal family and we wish you all the best of health and happiness in your futures.
"Any further developments regarding players extending their contracts, as well as joining/re-joining, or leaving us, will be officially communicated when confirmed."
Cozier-Duberry spent the past season in Arsenal's reserve side, helping them to reach the quarter-finals of the Premier League 2 play-offs. He impressed enough to earn a place on the bench for the Champions League visit of Sevilla and the Carabao Cup clash with Brentford.
The 19-year-old scored 13 goals and notched five assists in all competitions, as well as featuring five times for England's Under-19s. Hein meanwhile has already become Estonia's first-choice keeper despite being yet to make an appearance for Arsenal.
Hein did have a short spell at Reading in 2022 and spent much of the season just gone as one of the firstt-team's back-up keepers. Walters meanwhile featured heavily alongside Cozier-Duberry in the reserves.
He was also a regular fixture on the bench for the first-team in the Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup. It is unknown how long Arsenal will pursue talks for before allowing the trio to seek pastures new.
