ENGLAND rugby ace Billy Vunipola has broken his silence and finally revealed what happened during a shocking Majorca bar bust-up.

The sports star, 31, expressed remorse and regret over losing control on a night out on Sunday and even admitted to having no memory of being tasered twice.

The England and Saracens No. 8 was fined £205 and handed a suspended four-month prison sentence in an "express trial" for resisting the law and a minor crime of wounding an officer.

He was alleged to have threatened customers and staff at Epic bar in the island's capital, Palma, and to have thrown bottles and bar stools.

Accusations the rugby star has now denied in a tell-all interview.

Locals say he was seen drinking several shots of alcohol as he danced topless before a row with several locals and fellow tourists.

Vunipola has now spoken about what was going through his head on the night of the fiasco.

I guess I was lucky I had a bit more belly because I didn't feel [the Taser] as much

Billy Vunipola

He claims the drinks made his memory hazy and he still can't recall being asked to leave the bar at any point.

He told Mail Sport: "I don't remember that and I don't remember getting tasered.

"I think I was going to walk out towards the door and as I walked towards the door, something hit me from the back."

It is unclear if he is talking about the cops who swooped in to arrest him or the moment he was dramatically tasered.

Shocking CCTV obtained by The Sun showed nine cops tackling the rugby player in the bar before blasting him twice with a 50,000-volt Taser.

Police said the Taser initially didn't discharge properly because it struck Vunipola's wallet and it was discharged a second time.

But Vunipola sensationally claimed the powerful bolts had hardly affected him because he "had a bit more belly".

The sports star added: "I've got two marks on me.

"Someone told me, 'Those with more muscle get more affected by it [Taser] than those with a little bit more bedding'."

He added: "I guess I was lucky I had a bit more belly because I didn't feel it as much!

"Even when I was on the ground, they were shocked that I still had the energy to fight them - well, not fight them, resist them, which is what I got done for."

It's disappointing that I let what happened happen, by drinking too much. I am very sorry

Explaining what being tasered felt like, the rugby star added: "I just remember a snippet of "Oohh" (pain).

"Next thing I knew, my head is on the ground and that was it."

His club side, Saracens Rugby Club, released a statement on Wednesday declaring Vunipola will "face no further action" for his Majorca bar bust up.

But they did condemn the 20-stone, 6ft2 rugby star's behaviour and warned him about his future conduct.

Vunipola also apologised to everyone he had "caused a huge amount of embarrassment" for - including Saracens and his teammates.

He said: "It's disappointing that I let what happened happen
by drinking too much. I am very sorry!"

The player also spoke about his issues with knowing "when to stop" and revealed he had previously taken a break from drinking alcohol.

Billy explained: "That's the reason why I had stopped [drinking] and the reason why I had a drink [last weekend] was because it was my last ever trip with the boys and I wanted to really enjoy it, but obviously I went too far.

"There's no pressure. For the year-and-a-half when I didn't drink, everyone just accepted it. It was my choice."

The bar owner claimed that the player had downed four glasses of Amaretto before the bust-up but Billy revealed that he had much more to drink on the night in question.

He said: "I'd had way more than that. I'd had too much.

"...My issue was not taking my time with my drinking. Whatever drink I had, I'd just take the ice out and get stuck into it.

"I realised too late that I needed to calm down."

Billy says the escalation was a complete surprise, sparked by the fact that he had removed his shirt.

But there had also been some crossed words about which member of staff should take a tip he handed over the bar.

The rugby star said: "When the incident happened, I was in shock about how significant the response was to me taking my top off.

"Obviously, it's silly, but I was shocked. It looks like I'm laughing and joking, but I'm not laughing at them, or instigating anything, I was just shocked that I didn't just get pushed out [by security].

"The thing I do remember is them threatening [to call] the cops and me thinking, "Why? I haven't done anything. Did I beat someone up?" They said, "No, you just won't leave". I know when I'm drunk, I don't listen to anyone.

"That's what it came down to; drinking way too much and not listening to what people were telling me to do."

When asked he had threatened anyone inside the bar, he responded: "No, definitely not. I didn't do that. The issue is that I forget how big I am sometimes, in a crowded place.

"I saw the interview that the [bar] owner did saying I was elbowing people, but I had no intention to be threatening.

"I never touched a bottle and I never lifted a chair. If I had done, then I think that [the police] response would have been required.

"But I was in shock because that response came from me not wanting to leave a bar. It's fair enough because it is their premises, but I deny those claims that I threatened people and tried to throw chairs, or bottle anyone."

The 20-stone England star was sedated, he believes because of his size, by cops who battled to put the 6ft2 giant in cuffs before he was taken to a local hospital.

He says he felt confused after waking up and realising his night out had taken a dark turn and he was moved to a holding cell.

He said: "I called my wife and had to explain to her what had happened.

"I remember saying, "I'm so sorry" and I started crying. I said, "This is the last thing you want to hear but I'm OK and they're going to hold me until four (o'clock) when I will try to clear myself.

"They told me I'd be out at four, but I wasn't out until nine (pm). As soon as I came out, I went straight to the hotel to sleep. I was just gutted and embarrassed.

"I was disappointed that I didn't just get to enjoy the time. I ruined it for myself and for everyone else."

BILLY'S WILD NIGHT

Vunipola and his pals spent the night hitting a series of bars in the Spanish holiday isle.

Locals say he spent £100 in a few hours on drinks and downed four amarettos shortly before dancing with his top off.

But the bar owner says he refused to put his shirt back on for 20 minutes - sparking a huge brawl.

He was said to have been bumping into some of the other 60 revellers and refusing to stop, leading staff to call the cops.

One of the Epic co-owners Toni Rocha said the rugby player caused problems after arriving at the bar just before 3am on Sunday.

He is said to have "become worse" when he saw police officers arrive on scene.

Toni said: "I heard him insult police and say 'f***ing cops' at one point and there was another moment where he had his shirt off and hit an officer in the face with the top in his hand as the officer tried to reason with him.

"He laughed the first time they went to Taser him, it was like a film.

"And I heard the words 'another one' and the second time round he fell to the ground and the officers immobilised him and put wrist-ties on him."

He was later arrested at 4.30am.

The World Cup star - who has played for England 75 times - was then taken to hospital and strapped to a bed with tape as he was sedated.
