James Martin has said that one guest will never again appear on his breakfast show.

The chef hosts his own cookery show called Saturday Morning on ITV where he cooks alongside other chefs and invited other celebrity faces on. However, it seems that one guest won't be returning after a series of blunders.

On the Saturday 27 April programme, James by fellow chefs, including Kenny Atkinson, Asma Khan and Glynn Purnell. Loose Women's Linda Robson was amongst the celebrity line up to try the tasty food throughout the show.

But Glynn, who is known as the Yummy Brummie, may not be returning to the show any time soon. The chef made a series of blunders when he appeared as he made a surf and turf dish which included ingredients mussels and short rib beef.

While he was whipping up the delicious dish, he and James were unable to find any of the spoons that they had been using to taste the dishes along the way. It wasn't long until Glynn realised that one of the spoons had fallen into the sauce he was making.

He said: "I've lost a spoon in there chef but I'm sure we'll dig it out eventually," before finding that another one had fallen in the dish. "That one's gone in there again chef, want to grab that one out for me," he added.

James and Glynn were in fits of laughter before James joked that he wouldn't be inviting Glynn back onto the show in the future. James said: "This is Glynn Purnell - this is the first and the last time you'll see him."

It was obvious that James wasn't being series as the pair soon got back on with the cooking and James said Glynn's dish was delicious. Fans also took to social media to say how much they loved the duo.

One person wrote: "Don’t normally watch morning cookery shows but was drooling over the ribs with mussels @JamesMartin Saturday Kitchen served up by GlynnPurnell today!" As a second commented: "Enjoyed watching @yummy_brummie on James Martin’s Saturday Morning @jamesmartinchef The two of you were hilarious and informative in equal measure."

This came as James recently issued a health update after revealing last year that he had been diagnosed with cancer on his face. Appearing on ITV's Lorraine he was asked if he was "good" as he said: "Yes, the stitches have fallen out, as you know, the last time you were on, I was in the middle of operations. As we speak, the stitches have fallen out of my body at the moment and that's all clear, onwards and upwards!" with Lorraine replying: "I'm really pleased, it's great great news!"
