HAIR DARE
Many people skip the blowouts and are at a loss for what to do with their mane in the hotter months.
“With hot weather comes the dreaded humidity hair, which many of us experience during the summer," she said.
"Humidity causes frizz and flatness as the excessive moisture in the air interferes with the hair’s bonding, leading to water molecules penetrating strands and binding to the hair’s protein.
"This can lead to the hair losing its styled shape and become flat or frizzy. This can be a nightmare during summer, however, a useful trick to humidity-proof your hair is using hair oil."
Hair oils come in a variety of types with different goals in mind, from a thorough wash day, to growing longer tresses, and even to tame frizz.
“Hair oil works as a barrier, preventing the humidity from interfering with your hair.
"Your hair will be less susceptible to the effects of humidity when using hair oil, leaving your hair smooth and manageable.
"Similarly, hair butter works great for this as its moisturizing properties reduce frizz caused by humidity," she said.
Walker gave her advice for her go-to hair oil for beating the heat.

"Fortifying and shielding the hair structure, it greatly enhances shine and improves manageability, leaving the hair with a revitalized texture and a healthy appearance during humid days.”
The Olaplex No 7 Bonding Oil for Boosting Shine and Repairing is sold at Sephora for $30.
MAKEUP AND SKINCARE
Walker was sure to give head-to-toe advice for dazzling the crowds this summer.
“The hottest months are the best time to exfoliate. During the summer, sweat and sun cream can build up on our skin, allowing dirt to linger," she said.
"To combat this and have smooth, healthy skin, take time to exfoliate your body to rid of dirt, sweat, or sun cream build-up.
"This method removes dead skin cells and dirt to prevent clogged pores, leaving you with fresh, radiant skin.
"I recommend exfoliating at least twice a week during summer, however, if you have sensitive skin that’s easily irritated, exfoliating once a week may work best."
For makeup that stays in place, the beauty pro recommended using an eyeshadow primer for crease-free lids as well as products like setting spray for the face.
She also recommended applying powder before foundation for extra hold.
"By applying powder before foundation, you’re smoothing out your skin and soaking up excess oil, offering the perfect canvas for your foundation to give it a matte finish," she said.
