Jake Paul has poked fun at UFC boss Dana White in his cryptic message about Conor McGregor 's comeback fight.
McGregor is scheduled to make his long-awaited UFC return against Michael Chandler on June 29 in Las Vegas. Some fans are convinced the fight won’t go ahead after McGregor and Chandler’s press conference to promote the fight on Monday evening in Dublin was cancelled on just 12 hours notice.
YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul, who has been calling for a fight against McGregor since ditching his Internet fame for a boxing career, has now spoken out about the Irishman’s upcoming fight. "People keep asking me about Conor McGregor / UFC 303. Obviously, I know a lot about it, but I’m not going to talk about it publicly," he wrote.
"For the first time probably ever in my life, I have no comment on something. That’s their world, and you know, they get p***ed at me every time I talk about that stuff. Good for them and they’ll figure it out.” Paul was scheduled to fight boxing legend Mike Tyson on July 20 in Texas, but their controversial bout has been postponed after Tyson suffered a health scare.
Fans were quick to spot that Paul's message about McGregor's fight is the exact same quote that UFC boss White said about the influencer's fight against Tyson. White was asked about Tyson and Paul's fight being postponed at the UFC 302 post-fight press conference last weekend and gave the same response that Paul quoted in his tweet.

The Irishman, who is on a self-imposed booze ban, insisted he is focused on beating Chandler later this month and is hoping to fight three times year despite not having competed since July 2021.
"I'm going to put this guy's head on a pike, throw it over my shoulder and waltz on," McGregor told The Mac Life. "I'm ready to go. I'm calm, I'm composed, I'm cold in the soul for this man. I'm coming back with a vengeance and I'm coming back with skill. I'm excited to show my skills."
