Patrick Regan, the personal barber and mate of Kansas City Chiefs ace Travis Kelce, is crossing his fingers for a proposal to pop sensation Taylor Swift.
The love story between Kelce and Swift has captured hearts nationwide, with the duo being an item since at least September 2023 after Swift was spotted at one of the NFL star's matches. The sighting set tongues wagging about a possible romance, and since then, they've made no secret of their relationship, appearing together at numerous glitzy events.
Fans of both the 'Shake It Off' singer and the Chiefs tight end are buzzing at the prospect of wedding bells in the future. Although Kelce hasn't popped the question to the 14-time Grammy Award winner just yet, his pal Regan is optimistic that a proposal isn't far off.
Regan shared his thoughts on the Day Off Podcast when quizzed about the potential nuptials, carefully answering: "Hopefully soon. That would be fun."
Regan and Kelce's friendship dates back six years, starting when the NFL star slid into his DMs on Instagram looking for a trim while training in Florida. Since then, Regan's become a fixture at the 34 year old's home, even getting to know Swift as she hangs out during Kelce's haircuts.

On the podcast, Regan shared his thoughts on Swift's relationship with his friend, commenting: "It's kind of cool to see because I know her as a person. She's very interested in what you're saying. She doesn't act like the most famous celebrity in the world. She's a very nice person, and she's a good girlfriend to my friend so it's pretty cool, it doesn't seem too crazy to me."

"So, things have changed for me, now I have to drive further," Regan confessed. "Travis is one of my bros, so I used to just go sleep at his house every weekend. So, things have changed a little bit now, but it's cool to see. I'm happy for him and happy to see the stardom that he's getting."
He later encapsulated Kelce as "just a normal guy" and a "regular dude".
