Taylor Swift's latest album is full of clues to her romantic life, but one is definitely not about Matty Healy.
The award winning singer released her latest album 'The Tortured Poets Department' in April, with one of the songs 'But Daddy I Love Him' quickly becoming a fan favourite. Many thought it could be referring to her brief romantic fling with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, after the couple dated for a month last year.
However, an old interview has revealed a teenage Taylor actually screamed the phrase at her father in a "teenage tantrum", meaning it could well be about a high school sweetheart instead of the British singer.

In a resurfaced 2008 interview with PopSugar, Taylor explained how she wrote her hit 'Love Story'. She said: "This song, I wrote it right after my one epic teenage tantrum that I ever threw in my whole life. And I remember screaming something like ‘But daddy, I love him!’ and running out and storming into my room and slamming the door and then I sat down on the floor and wrote this song."
Taylor Swift's next studio album revealed after tenth release broke recordsThe old interview has been unearthed as many suggest its proof that she isn't singing about Healy. In the song, she sings: "Now I’m running with my dress unbuttoned / Screaming ‘But Daddy I love him!’ / I’m having his baby / No, I’m not, but you should see your faces."
In the song from her latest album, Taylor sings about having a forbidden love with a man who she has so much "chemistry" despite him being rejected by her parents and the "people in town." With Matty Healy having a controversial reputation, many thought her song about dating a man people thought was wrong for her could have been hinting at him.
However, Swift's fans also think that her latest song might also be referring to her current romance with Travis Kelce, as in the song as she sings: "Now I’m dancing in my dress in the sun and / Even my daddy just loves him / I’m his lady, and oh my God / You should see your faces."
There are other Kelce clues to as she sings about an exciting teenage romance while alluding to football, which many fans think is her dropping references to supporting Kelce at his Kansas City Chiefs games and the NFL Super Bowl. Taylor and Travis began dating in September last year, taking their relationship public pretty soon after.
