A WOMAN has been savagely slammed after asking for advice on which jeans to wear for a wedding.

Georgia-Mae, a stay-at-home first-time mum took to social media to ask her followers which outfit would be more appropriate.

In the short clip, Georgia-Mae first modelled a pair of ripped, black mom jeans, with a black top, pink blazer and heels.

For the next outfit, Georgia-Mae changed into a pair of skinny black jeans, with the same top, blazer and heels.

But social media users were left totally divided by the mother’s outfit options - with many hailing her looks ‘lazy’ and ‘scruffy’.

In the short video, which was posted online with the caption ‘Please help’, Georgia-Mae asked her followers: “Girls help, I don’t [know] which jeans to wear for a wedding at the weekend.”

As she posed in her living room, surrounded by children’s toys, the young mother, who gave birth this year, turned to the side to show off her postpartum figure in each outfit.

Georgia-Mae later confirmed that the bride and groom had approved her decision to wear jeans.

She explained: “Bride and groom have set a dress code and guests can wear what they want. I did get approval for jeans from both of them too.

“Groom told me he doesn’t care what I wear, he just wants me there to celebrate his special day.”

The mother also added that she will only be attending the evening part of the day, as she shared: “Just the evening. If I was going all day I would’ve picked a dress.

“It’s our first “night out” in a year so [we’re] gonna make the most of it.”

But the TikTok clip, which was posted just 21 hours ago under the username @theycallmezips, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 77,600 views.

Social media users were left totally divided by Georgia-Mae’s outfits and many took to the comments to share their thoughts.

One person said: “Jeans to a wedding???? It’s giving scruffy.”

Another added: “Solid no to both!! But 10000000% no to ripped jeans!!”

A third commented: “Wearing jeans to a wedding is criminal.”

Whilst someone else expressed: “Jeans shouldn’t be worn for a wedding. It looks lazy.”

Wear whatever you feel comfortable in!

At the same time, another woman claimed: “I’d be LIVID if someone came in jeans to my wedding, what about a jumpsuit, smart trousers or a dress?!”

Meanwhile, someone else advised: “Pick a dress.”

To this, Georgia-Mae responded and confirmed: “Not comfortable wearing one.”

However, not everyone was as stunned by Georgia-Mae’s jeans options.

One fashion fan wrote: “What's wrong with jeans to a wedding? Wear what makes you feel comfortable. But the second ones are way more flattering with the blazer.”

A second agreed: “Wear whatever you feel comfortable in!”

Whilst another penned: “You look good in both.”

After feedback from TikTok users, Georgia-Mae then added that she has “gone off the ripped pair.”
