A CHEAPSKATE mum of 10 has shared some of the extreme lengths she goes to to save cash.
Vickie Smith revealed that she makes Christmas presents and food from dead animals she finds at the side of the road to cut costs.

The family doesn't have a phone, and have to head down to the local library if they want to contact someone.
To save cash, their house is practically bare, with just a large table in the living room, and no sofa.

"I kick my self when I could have saved money and I don't".
One of Vickie's more extreme money saving tactics is to make homemade birthday and Christmas gifts from roadkill.
The whole family go out hunting for dead animals, and Vickie said that this saves her hundreds.
None of the animal gets wasted, and Vickie makes homemade meals using the roadkill meat, if it's still fresh enough.
To go with their roadkill dinner, the family pick weeds from the garden.
"It's a gourmet salad at a rock bottom price", she said.
However, her children are not impressed by the unconventional dinner.
"It's kind of weird to go to find animals at the side of the road that probably have bugs in", one of her son's said.
Vickie's money saving techniques have sent social media viewers into a frenzy.

"I feel so bad for the kids. If you can't afford these kids, stop having them!"
A fourth added: "I hope their kids are able to move out as soon as possible and live normal regular life."
