CHRISTINA Trevanion is best known as a formidable auctioneer on Bargain Hunt, but this summer, she has shown off her sultry side.

The BBC presenter has been enjoying some time in the sun while on holiday and shared a recent snap in a red bikini.

In the photo she also donned a sunhat with a floppy brim and sunglasses to protect her eyes while she read a book by a colleague.

James Braxton from Antiques Road Trip recently published a murder mystery set in the Sussex town of Hastings.

Christina gushed over the novel, saying: "Like mint sauce to lamb… red currant jelly to ham… marmalade to toast… this wonderful book has been the perfect accompaniment to my holiday, thank you James Braxton.

"'Barty - A tale of a stolen bronze. If you love food and antiques - this book is for you!"

The valuation firm owner matched the vivid red cover of the book by stripping down to swimwear in the same shade.

While some followers had questions about her summer read, most rushed to compliment her outfit in the comments.

One person gushed: "And you, as always, look like the cherry on top of the cake!"

Another exclaimed: "Temptress! How can one resist?"

A third chimed in: "Most beautiful woman on TV."

The Bargain Hunt host was recently shown being moved to tears as she discovered that her great grandad was a war hero.

When she visited militaria expert Steve Nuwar in Leominster, he examined the medals her relative received closely.

He then revealed that Gerald Arthur Stacey served under the Second Battalion London Regiment of the Royal Fusiliers.

He went on to explain that Gerald was awarded a Distinguished Service Order medal, an award for officers conferred by King George V and the Legion D’Honneur, the highest order of merit conferred by the President of France created by Napoleon.
