Sydnie Christmas has taken aim at trolls suggesting her Britain’s Got Talent win was a ‘fix’ in an angry statement.

After being voted the public's winner, Sydnie took home the incredible £250,000 cash prize and bagged a spot at the Royal Variety Performance later this year. However, her triumphant win was marred by 'fix' claims with fans pointing out the singer's already accomplished past with .

But in an Instagram statement published on Wednesday, the 28-year-old insisted she “can’t be touched” by online naysayers and thanked her “amazing” group of family and friends for the resilience they’ve instilled in her.

Sydnie started her post by thanking her loved ones and hailed her time on the ITV talent show as “the most amazing experience” before turning her attention to trolls. Alongside her lengthy statement, the singer also posted a screenshot of the audition confirmation email she was sent by the BGT team months ago.

She wrote in full: “How do I even start to write this. To my dear family and friends near and far. There is not a word out there that is big enough to describe my love, and gratitude to every single one of you who believed in me.

“I pray I made you proud. I'm glad I could give you all something back and something to show for, after supporting me for all these years. I'm crying. AGAIN. Gawd blimey. The most amazing experience!! And how lucky was I to have had this experience with my nans. Every single person I worked with was amazing. Meeting all the amazing contestants was the highlight. Best people ever.”

Syndie then said: “Righty then... For the trolls. It's heartbreaking to see. But listen up. You don't know me or the fierce backbone I have, I owe that to my supportive family and friends. I've been dealing with judgement in this industry all my life. So listen up. YOU CANNOT TOUCH US. Because of MY AMAZING FRIENDS, FAMILY AND EVERY SUPPORTER OF MINE. you simply cannot touch us. Just love here, always has been. I hand on heart wish you keyboard warriors happiness.”

She bravely concluded: “It's hard seeing people so angry. LOVE overpowers all. I will post pictures of my incredible BGT journey. Just remember I OWE THIS ALL TO YOUS. Thank you for helping my dreams come true. This win is ours. I love you all. And LETS AV IT !!!!! THANK GOD I RECEIVED THIS EMAIL.”

The talented singer won the competition on Sunday, June 2, after an action-packed final aired on . She battled for the winning title within the last few minutes against magician Jack Rhodes, who came in second place closely followed by mother-daughter dancing duo Abigail and Afronita.

Not everyone at home was happy Syndie was crowned the winner as many rushed to social media to claim her win was a 'fix'. "Fixed as f*** that she’s had a singing career before", one fan furiously commented on X, formerly known as , while another echoed: "They’re not even trying to hide the fact that this show is rigged."
