Jersey Shore legend Angelina Pivarnick is facing various criminal charges, and her attorney has blamed it on an "adverse reaction" to prescription medication.
The 37-year-old reality star is facing a string of criminal charges stemming from an incident last week in her New Jersey pad. Page Six was reportedly told her fiancé Vinny Tortorella was present too.
According to a summons that was issued on Sunday, obtained by TMZ, the charges against her include "simple assault, criminal mischief, obstructing the administration of law and resisting arrest."
The situation became even more extraordinary when Angelina's attorney spoke out about it. James Leonard Jr told Page Six that the 'very minor incident' was exacerbated by an adverse reaction to prescribed over-the-counter medication.

He added: "We look forward to resolving the matter amicably."
Angelina Pivarnock was 23 when she started Jersey Shore, and married Chris Larangeira in November 2019, but filed for divorce in February 2022 citing "irreconcilable differences" which caused a "breakdown of the marriage for a period of at least six months."
Meanwhile Angelina left die-hard fans over-oyed when a year after her marriage, she was preparing to get married once again after co-star Vinny Tortorella got down on one knee. TV cameras happened to be rolling for the happy moment as Angelina and Vinny are both starring on Jersey Shore sequel series Family Vacation. Taking to social media in 2023, Angelina let the world know her happy news, tweeting: "OHHHH YES GUYS," alongside a string of engagement ring emojis.
She sent another tweet soon after, stating: "Thanks for watching everyone! We love you all! We are both sooo thankful for all the love and congratulations we are reading! See u all next week."
She also retweeted some of the scenes that aired on the reality show - sharing the moment she was asked for her hand in marriage.
Many fans flocked to Twitter to express their excitement over the happy news. One gushed: "Yass happy for Angelina she deserves love and Vinny is great for her! #JSFamilyVacation" along with a clapping hands emoji.
