As rumours swirl about Eamonn Holmes' alleged new friendship with a 'blonde divorcée', Ruth Langsford has gone into full glow-up mode.
The 64-year-old, who has reportedly extended her break from Loose Women duties, is said to be looking forward to a 'wild' ahead following her and Eamonn's shock divorce announcement. The iconic showbiz couple announced they were calling time on their 14-year marriage last month, with a source close to the couple claiming work commitments had taken their lives 'in different directions'.

A source told OK!: "Although this split happened a while ago, Ruth feels shattered as she's had to put a brave face on for so long. It's been a really tough time for her as her whole life has now changed. She no longer has Eamonn and their son Jack is all grown up living his life - she feels a little lost. But she's got a very strong group of friends who have all been there for her and will support her - with the main person being Rylan."

Loyal Rylan, 35, has previously spoken of Ruth and Eamonn's care and consideration towards him during a very dark time in his life, and it's believed he's now keen to show them the same kindness. Opening up on an appearance on the High Performance podcast back in January, fellow This Morning presenter Rylan revealed how Eamonn and Ruth had 'driven two hours' to check in on him following a frantic call from his mum.
At the time, Rylan had been in the depths of an agonising depression, but Ruth and Eamonn showing up at his door 'reminded [him]' that there was life outside the front door', and that he had been 'someone before all of this s***."
This comes after The Sun reported that Ruth has decided to extend her break from Loose Women, amid reports of Eamonn's alleged friendship with a younger marriage counsellor. A TV insider told the publication: "Ruth will not be back on screen this week. She has decided to extend her break from ITV so will not yet be making a return to the Loose Women panel."

In the same OK! interview, the source divulged: "Rylan was close to both Ruth and Eamonn and owes them both a lot so he doesn't want to take sides. But he and Ruth have always got on and love a party so Rylan has promised to take Ruth away this summer and make her go wild.
"She's had a tough few years because of looking after Eamonn and also caring for her mum so he feels she deserves it – he's desperate for Ruth to take Ruth clubbing in Ibiza!"
It's thought Ruth will also be enjoying plenty of quality family time in the months ahead, with a recent wholesome video shared to Instagram showing her 'making memories' with mum Joan, and beloved dog Maggie. In the caption of the clip, which was accompanied by Anton Du Beke's Putting On The Ritz, contented Ruth wrote: "Lovely day spent with my darling Mum….sunshine, music, dancing, sherry, lunch, crosswords in the garden & Maggie….making memories. Music by her favourite @mrantondubeke #sunday #family."

Tagging London-based hair colourist Josh Wood, Ruth shared a before pic of herself with her hair in foils, before debuting her lighter blonde shade, completing her summer-ready look with Hollywood-style over-sized sunglasses.
In another snap shared to Instagram, freshly-pampered Ruth looked every bit the confident single woman as she modelled her QVC clothing range, pairing on-trend jeans and a chic cable knit vest with a large girls' day out-ready handbag.
