Strictly's Giovanni Pernice has been dealt a fresh blow as a dancer quits his show with a cryptic post.
The 33-year-old was involved in running Ballando classes with Pasquale La Rocca, who is a pro on the Belgium version of Dancing with the Stars. However, this seems to be no more. Pasquale took to his Instagram page to announce that the dancers would no longer be working together. He shared a statement on the social media platform saying that the reason was "out of [his] control". He said that he didn't want to "linger" on what had happened and instead wished to move on. He didn't give a specific reason a to why the dance classes were off.

I thought I should clear the air and give you an update on what's happening from my side. Circumstances out of my control have brought my Ballando dance classes journey to an end. I don't wish to linger on this, but to move forward."
Giovanni is still involved in the Ballando classes and there is an upcoming date scheduled which features Strictly judges Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke. The professional dancer has denied allegations of "threatening and abusive" behaviour while on the BBC show. Responding to speculation, Giovanni said on social media: "Of course, I reject any suggestion of abusive or threatening behaviour, and I look forward to clearing my name."
It came after rumours emerged about his conduct on Strictly following his recent stint with actress Amanda Abbington. Amanda left the series early, citing medical reasons and later claimed she suffered from PTSD. The BBC is said to have launched an internal investigation after receiving complaints from his previous dance partners on the show. It has been claimed three female celebrities are taking action against Giovanni.

Reports have now claimed a male celebrity has joined the unnamed women and has been in touch with the lawyers acting for the other complainants. A source claimed to The Sun: "After three women came forward, a man has now joined their ranks. He personally reached out to the women at the heart of this unfolding crisis, offering them his support and full backing. He has also been in touch with Carter Ruck and told them what he knows, and shared his experiences."
It has been claimed Giovanni has quit Strictly Come Dancing after nine years on the show after a leaked internal memo didn't feature Giovanni's name among this year's roster of professional dancers. The Mirror have contacted Giovanni and Pasquale's reps for comment.
