Scarlett Moffatt has shared an empowering ‘boob’ post as she soaked up the sun in Spain.
The former Gogglebox star turned TV presenter and podcaster posted a pretty shot of herself smiling at the camera wearing a black, pink and green floral bikini and pair of huge sunglasses as she sat poolside on holiday in Torremolinos on Tuesday afternoon.
But in a message over the top of the photo, the 33-year-old – who often shares body positive posts – told her 2.4 million Instagram followers: “Just a little reminder to embrace the boob gap this summer ladies.” And it’s not the first time Scarlett has spoken out about her self-confessed ‘boob gap’, which she says she has received horrific trolling on social media about in the past. She has since vowed to use her own social platforms to help ‘normalise’ boob gaps.
Back in 2021, she posted snaps of herself wearing a swimsuit on a luxury holiday in Antigua and captioned the photo: "I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Let’s normalise boob gaps!!” She went on to share: "Some of the comments I’ve received are horrific, but I don’t care because after years of struggling with self image I’m finally at a place where I want to shout from the roof tops: you are perfect just as you are! Let’s normalise the fact that everybody’s body is a beach body."

But until recently, she revealed she hadn’t worn one for five years as she didn’t like what she saw in the mirror. Bravely sharing a photo of herself in a bikini, she told her loyal followers: “This shouldn’t be a big deal but it is and I’m actually crying whilst writing this. It’s took me so many years to gain confidence with my body. I’ve let it down at times and missed out on holidays and nights out because I’ve not liked what I’ve seen in the mirror.

“But hey after 5 years of not daring to wear a bikini I’m actually doing it! So I hope this gives you the confidence to buy that dress, that bikini, not miss out just because your body doesn’t fit into a certain category (because let me tell you all these things are made up nobody is too slim, too curvy, too athletic, too many stretch marks, too much ) LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE.”
Since then Scarlett has gone to get engaged to boyfriend Scott Dobinson, who she has been with since 2019, and the pair welcomed their first child - an adorable little boy called Jude - last June, so he is coming up to his first birthday. But it seems Scarlett is more comfortable in her body than ever since becoming a mum.
Speaking on the Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast with Giovanna Fletcher, she revealed: “I literally see my body as a different entity now. Like, I’ve got a lot of stretch marks on my tummy. Honestly, I totally love them. I know that sounds strange and I never thought I’d say it... sometimes, when I get out the bath, I would run past the mirror. Whereas now I feel like I look at my body a lot more naked than I ever looked at it before. And I’m like, these boobies feed Jude. I wish actually I’d appreciate my body a lot more before I was pregnant.”
