ERLING HAALAND may have taken trolling to the next level.

The Manchester City sensation, 23, is bidding to fire the Citizens to a second title in two seasons since his arrival.

And not only is he casting an enormous shadow over Manchester United's current squad, he is looking down on their past greats.

A Prime Video docu-series about the famous 1999 Treble winners is having its premier today.

But fans heading to Printworks to watch it will be greeted by an unfortunate sight.

Haaland's face is plastered on a huge billboard above the entrance to the venue advertising the his latest venture.

Its tagline reads: "He stole your trophies. Steal his gold."

The Norwegian is a huge fan of mobile strategy game Clash of Clans and players are now able to recruit or play against him as the Barbarian King.

Amazon will hope the advert does not take the shine off their three-part series.

The streaming platform revealed the trailer for the show last month.

It features members of the Red Devils team that lifted a historic trio of Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League trophies.

The trailer teases interviews with both players and staff, including Sir Alex Ferguson and assistant Steve McClaren.

David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Peter Schmeichel, Dwight Yorke, Teddy Sheringham, Nicky Butt, Andy Cole and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer all feature.

One episode will be dedicated to the stories behind each trophy.

Ventureland - the production company behind the Beckham series on Netflix - are the gurus bringing the 99 documentary to life.

Oscar-winning producer John Battsek is joined by director Sampson Collins in steering the ship.

No English side could match United's incredible achievement until Haaland and City last season - not that any Red Devils supporters will need another reminder of that.
