Ruth Langsford’s latest social media post could be seen as a “dig” at Eamonn Holmes.
The couple, who have a 22-year-old son Jack, had been an item for a total of 27 years before deciding to split. A joint statement issued last month said: ”Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing."
Last week, one of 64-year-old Eamonn’s fans asked a very blunt question about who’d be getting custody of his and Ruth’s beloved pet dog Maggie. On Sunday, Ruth, also 64, appeared to make it clear the pooch would be staying with her when she posted a short clip of herself taking the dog on a walk.
What’s more, the video was soundtracked by Pretty Girls Walk by Big Boss Vette, a song with telling lyrics that include: “No matter what the f**k these h**s talkin' 'bout / Just know you a bad b***h” and “Sh***in' on my ex (f**k him), on to the next (on God)”.
Meanwhile, over the weekend, it was reported that Ruth's been left rocked by a message discovery between Eamonn and another woman. It's been alleged that Ruth found messages between her husband and another woman on a laptop. A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Ruth was completely taken by surprise when she saw the messages. She had no idea what had been going on between them. She was devastated. Not only was she very upset but she was also angry.”

Since the news broke, it has been claimed Eamonn had been left "blindsided" by the announcement which his former wife reportedly orchestrated. Although Ruth has yet to speak publicly about the split, Eamonn has previously thanked fans for their ongoing support.

"Who is getting Maggie? You both love her," asked one brazen fan beneath one of the former This Morning star’s recent Instagram posts. However, Eamonn's supporters were quick to shut the interrogation down. One disgraced fan replied: "And what on earth has that got to do with you?" While a second responded: "Could not agree more!"
Since splitting from his now estranged wife, Eamonn has reportedly been consoled by a mystery blonde divorcee. The Northern Irish broadcaster met the woman in her 40s, whose path he crossed after she commented on one of his X, formerly known as posts. Her name hasn't yet been revealed, but the woman reportedly works for a charity that Eamonn has endorsed and even helped to host an event for free.
But Ruth's "upset" is said to have "turned to anger" after this revelation became public knowledge as she was not aware they were friends. Ruth, however, is being consoled by her own friends, including Homes Under The Hammer host Lucy Alexander.
