The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office has unveiled the mugshot of Trump ally Rudy Giuliani, taken in connection with the Arizona fake electors case.
Giuliani pleaded not guilty in May to nine felony counts accusing him of aiding a "fake elector" scheme to falsely declare Donald Trump the winner of the 2020 Arizona election. The ex-NYC mayor has also lost his law licence due to his wildly false claims during the 2020 election.
Giuliani wrongly alleged that thousands of unauthorised immigrants voted in Arizona's 2020 general election. As a lawyer for former President Donald Trump's campaign, Giuliani made "demonstrably false and misleading statements to courts, lawmakers, and the public at large," according to a panel of judges from the First Department Appellate Division of the State of New York.

In their 33-page ruling, the justices cited several instances where Giuliani made "false and misleading" statements about illegal aliens voting in Arizona. "These false facts were made by (Giuliani) to perpetuate his overall narrative that the election had been stolen from his client," the ruling read.
During an unofficial hearing held by Republican lawmakers at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Phoenix, Giuliani falsely claimed that there were five million undocumented immigrants residing in Arizona.

The former NYC mayor spouted various falsehoods about the 2020 election (No credit)He also expressed disbelief that "beyond credulity that a few hundred thousand didn't vote," despite the hearing's acknowledgement that no statewide check had been conducted.
In a radio interview, Giuliani alleged that "way more than 10,000 illegal immigrants" had voted in Arizona. He speculated on a podcast that "the reality is probably about 250,000" and that "the bare minimum is 40 or 50,000".
On another occasion, he estimated the figure to be 32,000, but admitted his sources were not the most reliable.
Biden clinched victory in the battleground state by approximately 10,000 votes. The ruling stated: "On their face, these numerical claims are so wildly divergent and irreconcilable, that they all cannot be true at the same time. Some of the wild divergences were even stated by (Giuliani) in the very same sentence,".
The ruling revealed that Giuliani had relied on information about noncitizen voters provided by state senator Kelly Townsend, a Republican from Mesa, as well as "other witnesses."
