Prince Harry claimed Prince William and King Charles were “menacing” as they united against him.
The Duke of Sussex has had a strained relationship with his older brother in recent years, and their sibling bond was fractured when Harry married Meghan Markle in 2018. The warring brothers’ feud continued, with the 39-year-old alleging William had once physically attacked him during an argument over Meghan in his kitchen, leaving Harry injured after being pushed over.

However, just weeks later, Harry’s beloved grandfather Prince Philip died, meaning the Duke of Sussex was required to reunite with his family for the funeral. Meghan Markle 'to unleash her own memoirs' as Prince Harry's drops next weekHe recalled panicking that they had “changed their minds” about meeting with him while he was back in England, and admitted he “considered giving up” when he believed they weren’t going to come. Normally they’d be squabbling about one thing or another, but now they appeared to be in lockstep - in league. The thought occurred: Hang on, are we meeting for a walk...or a duel?” Harry wrote.
He confessed he felt a “hugely intense vulnerability”, and was taken back to the funeral of his mother, Princess Diana, and other important moments in his life as he revealed he had a “kind of hyper-awareness” as prepared to speak with William and Charles. Harry also revealed he was fearful of meeting with his brother and Charles, and compared it to “going into battle for the first time”.
