A MAKEUP fan has shared a drugstore hair gel that's better at keeping their brow hairs in place than a high-end buy.

They explained that a money-saving alternative performed just as well, if not better.

Redditor Uglypottery shared the beauty tip in a viral post.

They revealed that the $6 got2be Ultra Glued Invincible Styling Gel was their holy grail for holding their brow hairs in place.

After a long and tedious journey of looking for products that would prevent hairs from budging, they finally found a solution.

At first, an expensive high-end brow gel solved their problems.

"The outer half of my brow hairs basically point straight down, and NOTHING worked on them until I found the Patrick Ta Brow Lamination Gel," they said.

Though the lamination gel was expensive at $27 a pop, they figured it was worth the price.

"Literally everything else I’d ever tried lasted maybe an hour at the absolute max, but the Patrick Ta held them up all day, so I happily shelled out the [money]," they said.

One major downside, however, was how long the product kept.

"It always dried out long before I could finish the tube, so $27 for significantly less than 5 milliliters," they said.

After looking for a more affordable alternative, they stumbled across the got2be hair gel.

Although the product is intended for use on hair and not brows, they raved about its strength on their eyebrows.

"I don’t even remember why I tried that hair gel on my brows, but holy sh*t," they said.

"Five dollars for six ounces, and it seemed to work just as well as the [expensive] stuff, maybe a little better even," they said.

"I couldn’t believe it, so for a few days, I did an experiment — Patrick Ta on one brow and the got2be hair gel on the other.

"They were tied until the day I forgot to take my makeup off before bed."

They were shocked when they woke up in the morning and discovered that only one side had survived the night perfectly.

"The got2be brow was still perfectly in place the next morning. The other brow was still pretty good, but the winner was clear."

Better yet, the size of the product allowed them to share the wealth.

"I used a big livestock syringe to fill a bunch of empty mascara tubes/wands and handed them out like candy to my mom, sisters, and best friend," they said.

"They’re all obsessed with it, and I’m expected to bring them more at regular intervals now."
