Meghan slipped into the bright floor-length gown just 24 hours after vowing to add more colour to her wardrobe during her visit to Nigeria.
On Saturday, the 42-year-old said: “I [had] very quickly gotten the memo that I need to wear more colour so I can fit in with all of you in your incredible fashion. I am very overwhelmed.”
Earlier in the day, Meghan donned a traditional Nigerian skirt gifted to her as she and Harry unveiled a partnership between their Archewell Foundation and the non-profit Giants of Africa, which aims to empower young people through sport.
The royal couple then watched a practice session at Ilupeju Senior Grammar School in Lagos, Nigeria, before Harry, 39, showed off his basketball skills.
He said: “The power of sport can change lives.
“It brings people together and creates community and there are no barriers, which is the most important thing.”
Keeping to her word to inject some more colour into her outfits, the Duchess later changed into the vibrant yellow frock for the couple's visit to State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s house, where they were guests of honour.
The stylish royal paired the dress with some chic nude slingback leather sandals and accessorised with her AURate collar necklace and £2,605 ($3,250) gold hammered disc earrings from Jennifer Meyer.
She also blinged up the outfit by adding her gold Cartier 'Love' bangle, Lorraine Schwartz 'Evil Eye' bracelet, diamond hex tennis bracelet from Ariel Gordon, and Birks 'snowflake' diamond ring.
