An influencer was left with huge swollen lips after having an allergic reaction while getting her lip fillers removed.
Sofia Bolshakova was horrified after her face ballooned during the common procedure but shared the images with her 405,000 Instagram followers in a bid to warn others. The 23 year old was aware she had allergies, having reacted in the past to several foods and pets so managed to warn her beautician of the chance she could be sensitive.
She told local media: "It's a good thing the medications were ready otherwise, because of such severe swelling, I could have even died. "I'm doing fine now and following all the doctor's instructions."
Explaining why she went through with the procedure she added: "The gel in my lips started clumping together, which looked unattractive. That's why I decided to visit a beautician to have it removed."
