AN OAP has told how he won a lottery jackpot four times by playing the same numbers - and says the cheques just keep on coming.

Army veteran Malcolm Blanche has scooped £266,664 in the People's Postcode Lottery.

Malcolm, 72, and his wife Carolyn bought two tickets each when they signed up to the lotto draw two years ago.

After Carolyn died in 2019, Malcolm carried on playing with her tickets as well as his own.

He told the Kent Messenger: "I just decided to keep them on. She’d be over the moon and shaking right now.

"When I saw the first cheque, I thought ‘That’ll do’, then it came again, again and again!

"I’m chuffed when I get a tenner."

Malcolm bagged the prize with ten of his neighbours in Sandgate near Folkestone.

Their postcode came up tops in this week's Millionaire Street prize - with each ticket worth £66,666.

Lucky Malcolm's four tickets quadrupled his prize to a whopping £266,664.

Another of his Sandgate neighbours doubled their winnings with two tickets.

The win comes as a change in fortune for Malcolm, who broke his right shoulder in a hot tub accident back in April.

He plans to celebrate with a meal out - before splashing the cash sum on his garden and holidays to Edinburgh and the Isle of Wight.
