Love Island star 'rushed to hospital' and wearing neck brace after dance mishap

A Love Island star has been 'rushed to hospital' following a TikTok trend that seemingly went awry.

All-star contestants Kaz Kamwi, 29, and Chris Taylor, 33, filmed themselves trying to recreate a viral trend that involves a couple performing an impressive Dancing On Ice-style lift - but things went from bad to worse.

In the original clip, a man lifts the woman and spins her around before he falls and rolls on the ground, transitioning into a forward roll before the clip switches to a new scene. Attempting the lift themselves, Kaz and Chris shared their multiple attempts on their respective Instagram stories but it soon became clear that they were not going to reach their goal of recreating the difficult lift.

Things then seemed to take a turn for the worse when the pair shared a photo of Kaz lying in a hospital bed wearing a neck brace, with Chris writing: "I am deeply, deeply sorry @kazkamwi." In the picture in question, Kaz looks annoyed as she sits up in bed while Chris is standing by her bedside looking rather guilty and uncomfortable.

It remains unclear whether the injury is actually real or whether it's a prank, but either way, Chris and Kaz's followers couldn't get enough of the drama as they commented with laughter rather than expressing concern for Kaz's wellbeing.

Meanwhile, on their respective Instagram stories, it appeared as though the pair had finally mastered the move by the end after seemingly endless attempts at perfecting the dance.

Fellow Love Islanders found the situation hilarious as Georgia Harrison commented: "Pahahahahahhahahaha, I'm obsessed I can't imagine how long this took." Former Love Island winner Liam Reardon also commented: "I'm impressed, that takes skill from both of you."

Someone else commented: "I actually got nervous as soon as this started hey, not bad though. Your videos are freaking hilarious." While another follower joked: "Kaz will never let you live this down Chris."

Chris and Kaz, who starred together in All Stars earlier this year, appear to have grown closer since their time in the villa. Fans have been speculating about their relationship status, with comments such as 'Are you dating Kaz' and 'You guys are dating'. One fan queried: "Are Chris and Kaz dating? This is the only Love Island I watched and liked. These 2 were awesome and if they are dating, good for them. I would be happy cause they didn't find love in the villa and they were both good people."
