A woman has lifted the lid on her unusual relationship.
She met her partner on a sugar daddy website after "falling in love with his money" but she soon "fell in love with him". Nova Hawthorne, 29, has been with her 63-year-old partner James for five years after meeting him on a sugar daddy website where Nova was sharing "spicy" content. James would buy Nova expensive jewellery, clothes, and even invested a whopping $400,000 [approximately £210,355] into her business, before helping her buy an apartment for filming adult content.
While the basis of their relationship was initially strictly an arrangement, not before long the pair, who live in Melbourne, Australia, fell in love. "I liked him as a person, not just a sugar daddy," said Nova told YouTube's Love Don't Judge. But Nova says she is often "mistaken for an escort" when the couple go out on dates together.
James added: "I had a number of sugar babies before me and Nova met - I just find it a straight forward way of meeting people. Nova was pretty quickly a soulmate. It was a matter of weeks before we graduated from sugar-ing to boyfriend and girlfriend," James said.
But he confessed that when they are out in public people "stop and stare" and "take photographs" of them. Nova, who has over 45,000 Instagram followers, said she has fun playing up to people's assumptions.

She added: "I find it exciting when we are going out together as I know people are going to look. I'll make myself look extra nice or wear a really short skirt or a little dress - so if people are looking that's something to look at."

Nova said: "The biggest one is that it is not a real relationship - that James is providing me with finance and I am providing the sugar in return." "Most of the doubts have been about if there is a genuine affection there or whether it was just for money," James added.
Nova was studying for master's degree in social work when she decided to pick up live streaming. Now she makes approximately £157 an hour and over £80,000 a year, she shared on TikTok previously. Nova continued: "There is a true, authentic partner relationship."
The pornstar and Only Fans user confessed that a number of her friends - who have also been on sugar daddy websites were sceptical at first and thought she was perusing James for his wealth. Her family also had concerns whether they were both in the relationship for the right reasons, considering the circumstances in which they met.
The couple's good friend Mia said when she first saw them together she thought they looked like "father and daughter". "I had to get over the initially shock," she told Love Don't Judge. She added: "It's fascinating because you don't expect anybody in the neighbourhood to make spicy content - I think it's incredibly empowering. I think well done."
