ERLING HAALAND wrapped up back-to-back Golden Boot triumphs as Manchester City won the Premier League title today as they beat West Ham 3-1.

Despite not getting on the score sheet today, the Norwegian sensation, 23, plundered 27 goals in 31 matches after hitting 36 in 35 last year.

He is just the fifth player to win successive Golden Boots after Alan Shearer, Michael Owen, Robin van Persie and Thierry Henry.

And he is the first to do it in his first two Premier League seasons.

Haaland will be favourite to add a third triumph next season and join an elite club alongside Shearer and Henry with three consecutive wins.

He could not add another Premier League Player of the Season crown after being pipped to the award by team-mate Phil Foden.

The English prodigy says playing alongside Haaland is an incredible experience.

He told 90min: "I don't see him as human, honestly.

"When the games are tough you just look to him and think: 'When's he going to score for us?' And just to play with a player like that, it's so nice.

"When things get tough he always seems to step up and score important goals, like you see the other day against Tottenham he scored two important goals for us.

"To play with him, yeah, it's unbelievable, and he's still young as well. You have to remember how young he is and how he's still going to keep getting better.

"I've never seen anyone come to the Premier League and blow it away in the way that he's done it.

"For me, it's the toughest league in the world and to what he's done, yeah, I just don't know how anyone else will ever do that."

Haaland will have plenty of time to recuperate this summer after Norway failed to qualify for the European Championship.
