Paris Fury has posted a sweet tribute to boxer husband Tyson Fury after he lost his heavyweight title to Oleksandr Usyk.

Fans around the world tuned in to watch the high-profile bout last night, which took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. But the Gypsy King’s crown was toppled when Ukrainian Usyk was deemed the winner on points after a knockdown in the ninth round.

After the fight, formerly unbeaten Fury, 35, disputed the outcome and said: "I believe I won that fight, I think he won a few of those rounds but I won the majority of them. His country as at war, so people are siding with the country at war. Make no mistake, I won that fight in my opinion."

There are now talks of a rematch, despite wife Paris, 34 – who he shares seven children with – fearing he will be killed in the ring and calling for him to give up boxing and retire once and for all. But whatever he decides to do in the future, Paris proved she is standing by her man as she posted a throwback snap of the couple to her Instagram stories with a gushing caption which read: “19 and 20 on this [photo] newly married, love him more than ever, best man in my eyes.”

Expressing her regret she couldn’t be at last night’s fight – suggesting that maybe she is his good luck charm - Paris continued: “Will never not be at your side for a fight again. Even though I couldn’t be there, I wished I was.” She then recited some of their marriage vows and said: “To have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, til death do us part, according to God’s holy law @tysonfury.”

Though she backs her husband whatever he does, Paris is said to have given Tyson an ultimatum as she demands that the World Champion boxer hang up his gloves once and for all for the sake of his health – and their family.

Back in 2022, Tyson did retire after 14 years – winning 33 bouts and drawing one. But after suffering with his mental health when he wasn’t prepping for a fight, he decided to re-enter the ring again. And since coming out of retirement, Tyson has been on a mission to prove to the that he is the greatest boxer that ever lived.

Paris previously revealed her feelings towards Tyson and his boxing career on their hit show, At Home with the Furys. She shared that in the lead up to one of Tyson's fights, she is crippled with anxiety and worry for her husband, and can't help but harbour concern that one wrong punch could kill the father of her seven children.

Speaking to ahead of his fight, Tyson admitted he sees where Paris is coming from and said: “If Paris was going into something and I knew she could die at any moment in time, I would be nervous too. So, pretty daunting task looking death right between the two eyes every time you climb into a boxing ring. But it's something we get on with.

“I earn a lot of money. I get danger money and I am well paid for it. We know the risk going in and it is what it is. Nobody wants me to box anymore in my family. I've got too much to lose. But, it's something I like to do so the ball keeps rolling.”
