Cadbury's fans have been left baffled after claiming part of their favourite treat "missing" when they open its wrapper.
There's nothing like tucking into a delicious chocolate bar for a treat, but imagine waiting all day to enjoy it, only to discover it's not quite how you expected it to be. That's apparently what happened when Wispa fans opened their favourite treat recently.
The Wispa bar has remained a fan favourite since its launch in the 80s. But to Wispa lovers' shock, it was discontinued in 2003. Fans weren't happy and campaigned to bring it back, so in 2007 it made a comeback and has been a staple on shop shelves ever since.
Of course the best part about a Wispa is its bubble centre - but some fans say they have noticed there is "barely any bubbly goodness" after opening some bars this month. And now they've shared their frustration on social media.
Taking to X, one individual, who planned to tuck into a packet of Wispa Bitsas, said: "Hey @CadburyUK I almost felt as empty inside as these bitsa Wispa when I opened the pack! Who do I speak to to get a replacement?"

One other shared their frustration, and added: "@CadburyUK any idea who nicked the caramel out of my Wispa Gold?"
Another individual said: "Hey Cadbury.... there seems to be something missing in this Wispa gold.... there is barely any of the bubbly chocolaty goodness!"
"Hey @CadburyUK come get your Wispa it's clearly unwell," wrote another. One other commented: "Hi @CadburyUK I was shocked to find my Wispa chocolate bar hollow."
Cadbury's have responded to a number of frustrated customers on X, and wrote: "Sorry to hear that! Please contact the customer care team here: http://bit.ly/YCpDCW and they'll look into this for you."
Earlier this month, The Sun reported that an eight-year-old little girl was left "in pieces" after getting an empty shell of a bar from a multi-pack of Wispa bars. "It was enough to make anyone cry," her mum said. Cadbury's offered a £2 cheque and issued an apology.
The Mirror have contacted Cadbury's for a comment on this matter.
