Instagram users were deeply concerned when Dick Strawbridge was seen strolling on a beach with a walking stick.

The former Escape to the Chateau star took to the social media platform this Tuesday, May 21, as he shared snaps of his latest family trip to the beach at Saint-Cast-le-Guildo in Brittany. He could be seen enjoying quality time with his two youngest children, whom he shares with wife Angel Adoree, Arthur and Dorothy.

"Hello to you on this terrific Tuesday! Rainbows and sunshine! Simple sandy fun at seaside!" Dick captioned the snap. However, many of his 344k followers were concerned for his health as they spotted him with a walking stick and they shared their worries in the comment section.

"Hope Dick is OK, see a walking stick being used..an old rugby injury no doubt", one follower penned while another echoed: "Hope your knee is getting better Dick. Enjoy your lovely family." A third questioned: "What's wrong with Dick?"

Thankfully, Dick has already opened up about his pesky knee injury in the past to reassure his fans. In April, 2024, the Lieutenant explained that he had to use a walking stick for six months after his knee snapped during his time in the military. This prompted him to undergo acupuncture treatment, as he admitted on his and Angel's podcast, Dick & Angel's Chat... Eau.

"I went for my first treatment because my knee has been giving me some grief and I am still waiting to go along and see the expert which is actually on Dorothy’s birthday", he said, "So I went along and got pins stuck in me. It was interesting. When you have had 20 years in the army, when you lie down and do nothing, and nothing's happening you sleep."

Dick and Angel have not been seen on screens since late 2022, when their iconic series Escape to the Chateau drew to a close. Since then, the pair have focused on other projects, including their own YouTube channel on which they share big moments of their program. In March they also announced they would be hosting The Game Fair's VIP enclosure in late July this year at Blenheim Place in Oxfordshire. But they are also due back on Channel 4 next month.

The couple, who have been married since 2015, will be fronting a new program called Dick and Angel's Secret France as they will be exploring the side of the country tourists often forget to explore. The upcoming show will consists of four hour-long episodes and will take viewers beyond the family's 19th century Château de la Motte-Husson.

Angel and Dick began filming for the series in January before heading off on a theatre and book signing tour in Australia and New Zealand. They shared the big news on their Instagram account at the time, penning: "Escape to the Chateau: Secret France will be on your screens later this year – we can’t wait to share our discoveries with you!"
