Angel Strawbridge has now addressed the "tsunami of untruths" that circulated about her marriage to Dick Strawbridge following an on-set altercation with a cameraman during the filming of Escape To The Chateau. A leaked clip from last year captured the 46 year old seemingly lashing out at her colleague, whom she labelled a "f****d up c***".
After maintaining silence for a year, she finally spoke about the incident earlier this week on Elizabeth Day's How To Fail podcast. During the conversation, Angel condemned the colleague, alleging he had behaved inappropriately towards her, Dick, and their two children on set.
The mother-of-two also claimed that the individual had manipulated the situation by deleting his own comments before she lost her temper in the expletive-laden audio. The leaked clip emerged around the same time the family had just wrapped up their final scenes with Channel 4, after nine series.

Among these false claims were rumours that she and Dick had split after their show ended.
Discussing that turbulent time, she revealed on the podcast: "What was the saddest [part] for me was it started a tsunami of faux truths and there was everything in there from us being bankrupt, from us moving out of the Chateau, we were millionaires, I think the week after, me and Dick had broken up, it was absolutely everything."

"And I think we're so trained not to answer anything, 'you don't explain, you don't complain' because once you answer one thing, you have to answer everything and actually when this all exploded, we had just started our wedding season.
"Literally, I'm in bed putting Dorothy (their daughter) to sleep and we've got a house full of guests and I'm getting messages from journalists wanting comments etc.
"In a way, I had to have a superpower and I had to box this all up because the people that were getting married at the Chateau were the most important thing to me that weekend."
Despite the split rumours, Angel and Dick remain happily married after tying the knot at their home back in 2015.
The pair first met in 2010 at a mutual friend's 40th birthday party, when Angel was 32 and Dick was 52, before love swiftly blossomed between them.
Angel said her "heart stopped" when she first laid eyes on Dick and "completely forgot" what she was doing at the time.
With the party being full of people however, the pair didn't get to speak to each other properly until six weeks later when their paths crossed again.
"It was on Celebrity Masterchef and he did this pop-up restaurant," she recalled to Elizabeth. "We just sat and talked after him cooking for this huge big party of guests.
"Everyone wanted to talk to Dick, to congratulate him and talk about the food and he just came and sat next to me and we just talked all night."
On what drew her to Dick initially, she continued to gush: "He's so passionate about life, about everything. He's a story teller and he's got a certain energy."

"Honestly, even now he's got this aura about him of authority. It makes my hairs go on end, he's a very strong, powerful man, that is very kind as well and he'll do anything for anyone."
