Meghan Trainor has revealed she is over the moon about her decision to change her son's name at the last minute.

The pop sensation, 30, originally planned to name her second child Bruce Barry but opted for Barry Bruce instead, a choice she's admitted she is now absolutely thrilled with.

The Dear Future Husband songstress gushed: "My son's name was going to be Bruce Barry and we changed it to Barry Bruce. And I'm so glad we did."

Speaking to the Guardian, the chart-topper also revealed she isn't done expanding her brood just yet and admits she has got her heart set on adding two daughters to the family mix. When quizzed about who'd portray her in a biopic, Meghan cheekily responded: "My daughter, my nepo baby. I want two daughters that's my dream."

Family means the world to Meghan, so much so that after tying the knot with hubby Daryl Sabara, they whisked the whole clan away on their honeymoon. Reflecting on her most lavish purchase, Meghan shared: "At the beginning of 2019, I brought my entire family with me on my honeymoon to Bora Bora."

But not all family holidays have been quite so glamorous and Meghan recalled an embarrassing mishap from her youth: "When I was 11, I went down a water slide and my bottoms didn't go with me. Everyone saw my bare white butt."

Despite initial worries that motherhood might halt her career, Meghan has found her children are actually a massive source of motivation and creativity. The songstress opened up to the Sunday Mirror recently, revealing her initial fears about motherhood and career: "When I got pregnant, I had that thought, 'Is my career done now I am a mom? ' I thought that I couldn't do both. But then I released 'Made You Look', and that song blew up."

She went on to say: "I had the best year of my career after my baby because he inspired me to be the best version of me."

Reflecting on her newfound motivation, she added: "Every morning I would walk in, just stare at him for about 45 minutes and think, 'I'm going to get the healthiest I've ever been, be the most motivated, write the best songs I've ever written. I'm going to work my a*** off to show you that you can have it all, and you can live your dreams'."
