Taylor Swift is reportedly staying in an exclusive Cotswold town.

The 34-year-old global megastar has reportedly booked a £3,000-a-night rural cottage in the Cotswold countryside, where she is expected to stay for the remainder of the UK leg of her Eras tour. The luxury abode is thought to be in Great Tew, near Chipping Norton, with famous neighbours including the Beckhams, Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell, and David Cameron, and just around the corner from Jeremy Clarkson’s shop on Diddly Squat Farm.

Taylor’s Kansas City Chiefs star boyfriend is expected to join her for some quality time in the secluded spot as the duo approaches their first anniversary together. 34-year-old Travis Kelce has already made his way from across the pond and was spotted in the UK yesterday enjoying a game of golf with fellow sportsmen Wayne Gretzky and Dustin Johnson.

The lavish cottage is a stone’s throw away from Soho Farmhouse, an exclusive members-only club which charges £2,950 a year in membership fees. The luxurious spot is popular amongst celebrities and even hosted Meghan Markle’s hen do.

The Grammy winner’s rental home is also close to one of only 33 Michelin Green Star - an award given to eateries for their sustainability practices - restaurants in the UK. The Trough at Daylesford Farm could be the perfect date night spot for Taylor and Travis, who are not afraid to splash the cash. The posh joint serves up a salad for £23, a cheese tart for £18.50, and a bottle of red wine for £55.

Locals and business owners are gearing up to welcome the Cruel Summer songstress, with clothing boutique owners even picking out outfits for Taylor in case she visits their stores. One shop owner told local news outlet Gloucestershire Live: “I’m not surprised she’s staying near Chipping Norton because it's such a gorgeous area. Everybody's friendly and lots of big names live here. She will love the countryside, the scenery is gorgeous.”

Taylor is known to be a big fan of the British countryside and is thought to have chosen the Cotswold spot for its natural beauty. An insider previously told The Sun: “She wants a place to unwind away from the tour and the countryside is her happy place. Taylor loves dressing up in sequins on stage but is most at home in muddy boots in the fresh air.”

Taylor even dedicated a track on her 2020 album Folklore to the Lake District. In The Lakes, she sings: “Take me to the lakes where all the poets went to die. I don't belong, and my beloved, neither do you. Those Windermere peaks look like a perfect place to cry. I'm setting off, but not without my muse.”
