An eagle-eyed bargain hunter spotted the essentials in their local store and shared their good fortune on social media.

One shopper shared a photo of the buy on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.

They said: "To whoever posted about the Dunelm curtain sale - thank you!

"Nearly didn't bother going in as I never find any of the bargains, but was passing so thought it was worth a look and I got these for £33.75 reduced from £135, so 75% off!! Really good quality, love them."

The post was met with comments from fellow deal fanatics keen to pick up their own curtains.

One said: "We need to go asap!"

Another wrote: "I got the same pair today. Brilliant bargain. 90 x 90cm.

"Was 175 quid, paid £45."

A third commented: "We need a trip. Love these."

While there is also a sale available online, the deals of up to 75% appear to only be in-store at the moment.

According to a worker: "The sale finishes on Sunday. Things that aren’t 50% or more will go back to full price, but [those] 50% and more will stay the same."

So shoppers have a couple more days to head to their nearest dunelm to bag a bargain.

It's always worth giving your local site a call to check if they still have it in stock to avoid disappointment.

The best match we could find was at Morris & Co on John Lewis - but the pair are retailing for a whopping £120 to £240 depending on what size you want.
