Zara Tindall once again showcased the warm-hearted nature that has won her fans across the country, as she shared an affectionate moment with Lady Gabriella Windsor at the esteemed Royal Ascot. Lady Gabriella made a poignant appearance at Tuesday's event on June 18, marking her first official outing since the tragic loss of her spouse, Thomas Kingston in February.

Onlookers couldn't help but feel moved as Zara's husband, Mike Tindall, watched his wife console Lady Gabriella with a tender embrace. The daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, Lady Gabriella had previously attended the venerable race meeting in 2023, alongside her late husband.

Tragedy struck earlier this year when Thomas Kingston passed away on February 25 due to a "traumatic head wound" he sustained at an outbuilding on his family's property in the Cotswolds. His union with Lady Gabriella in 2019 was celebrated in Royal fashion, with Queen Elizabeth II among the attendees.

The sorrow following Mr Kingston's passing was palpable, with Buckingham Palace releasing a statement where Lady Gabriella extolled her husband as "an exceptional man who lit up the lives of all who knew him", the BBC conveyed.

However, Lady Gabriella found solace yesterday amid relatives, with the company of Zara and Mike Tindal by her side. She arrived gracefully in a carriage procession that also included Princess Anne and Peter Phillips, son of the Princess Royal, as reported by the Daily Mail, reports Gloucestershire Live.

Delightful snaps reveal the King's niece warmly embracing Lady Gabriella, her smile radiant. This follows just days after King Charles' Trooping The Colour ceremony, an event Mike and Zara missed due to their non-working Royal status - instead, they were spotted enjoying a romantic evening at P!nk's gig at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
