CLIMATE protesters who slapped a waxwork of the King with cakes had earlier planned to kidnap the figure.

Johnson, of Blairgowrie, and McFadden, of Glasgow, said they had discussed removing the King’s figure.
Johnson told the court: “I'm surprised it's even been brought to this level - however, we are here.
