Lennox Lewis has teased a fight against Jake Paul after his controversial bout with Mike Tyson.
Paul's fight against heavyweight icon 'Iron Mike' has been pushed back from July 20 to November after Tyson suffered a stomach ulcer flare-up whilst onboard a flight last month. The YouTuber-turned-boxer will fight former UFC star Mike Perry next month to stay active before his rescheduled bout with Tyson.
Lewis KO'd Tyson in the penultimate fight of his legendary career and is backing his former rival to beat Paul when they meet in the ring. The 58-year-old hasn't fought in over two decades but admitted that he would be willing to follow in Tyson's footsteps by returning to the ring to fight Paul.
"I hope that Tyson saves a little bit of Jake Paul for me. Mike Tyson’s gonna win. Mike Tyson’s not that old. Don’t take him too softly. We’re one year apart. You can fight somebody like that and do well because the person you’re fighting is not a true fighter and there’s a hundred things that you’ve forgotten that he’s learning," Lewis told Fox 29 Philadelphia.
"It will be a little bit of a determining factor if the fight goes on too long, but if they get close and Mike Tyson comes with his ten-second combination, if one of those punches catches him he’s definitely gonna go down." Tyson will have to pass brain and heart scans to be eligible to fight Paul on November 15.

Paul recognises that a loss to bare-knuckle boxing champion Perry could scupper plans for his mega-fight against Tyson. The influencer sparred Perry before his fight against Ben Askren three years ago and predicts he will KO his rival in less than 10 minutes. "This fight has been brewing for years," Paul said.
"Mike Perry has been talking s*** to me for years non-stop and I do think this guy is funny. My official prediction for the fight, three rounds or less. I'm calling it now, these guys can't hang with me. Nobody has been able to see my skill for the past year, I've had new coaches and my development has been amazing."
