Reacting to the disallowed strike, one fan took to social media to write: "Plot twist it's just to knock Poland out of Euros."
Speaking after his side's 3-1 defeat, Poland boss Probierz said: "We started the match badly. We lost too many balls.

"Later we managed to calm things down and had our chances.
"It seemed that we could have this match under control, but we had too many ball losses that ended up costing us."
Poland next face France on Tuesday in the final group match.
