Turn those dreaded flights or long car journeys into the peace and quiet you've been longing for.

Sticking a kid on a long-haul flight and not expecting them to have a full-on meltdown is pretty unrealistic. It's pretty normal two minutes after take off for them to start getting restless, hungry, and asking how much is left of the perpetual journey.

However, Casey Major-Bunce has got you covered. The parent, whose 'sanity-saving hacks' have amassed a staggering 654,000 followers online - has found a genius way to keep the little occupied while you kick back with a good back and get into the holiday mood.

"This hack is a game changer for keeping your kids entertained whether you're travelling in the car or on an aeroplane, or enjoying lunch or dinner with friends," Casey said. The mum simply tapes down a Lego sheet onto the inside of a file folder. Then, she pops some Lego bricks into a file pocket and adds it to the other side of the folder.

"This simple solution will keep your kids entertained for hours," she added. "And maybe, just maybe, you won't hear 'are we there yet?' But no promises."

Hundreds of viewers flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts - but it's clear the hack had divided users. "This is genius. Will definitely be doing this one," one person raved.

Another agreed, commenting: "Now this is one of my favourites." A third added: "Love this." While a fourth wrote: "Oh, what a good idea." However, others pointed out that letting kids have access to small pieces of Lego on a flight or car ride could end up in chaos.

"There will 100 per cent be Lego scattered across my car," one user argued. "For me, it makes this idea a no." Another agreed, stating: "Whoever came up with this either has never had children or never played with children and Lego to think this would go remotely well on an aeroplane."
