Georgia Kousoulou has announced that she is pregnant.
The TOWIE star previously revealed that she'd suffered from a heartbreaking baby loss and that she had been undergoing IVF with the support of husband Tommy Mallett.
Georgia, who has a son named Brody with her husband Tommy, wrote in an Instagram post: "Our little rainbow baby is due December. Words can’t express the emotions we have, we have prayed, and wished & with a little help it’s happened.. I can’t thank my team enough. Rehan Salim, you are the best IVF specialist - I’m so blessed we met you. & Michelle my amazing nurse who helped me every step of the way! These guys made my experience with IVF so much better than I could of even imagined.
"I was so scared as all the things I had heard beforehand but they were simply the best & held my hand the whole way through. thank you for giving us the best gift of all. To anyone watching who is suffering. I am with you & I know how you feel. I pray this post doesn’t trigger you. I know how hard it is seeing announcements. Please know you are not alone & please don’t give up hope."
She put together a video of her taking her IVF injections while the song Unconditional by Sinead Harnett played over the clip. In one video, she could be seen crying as she lay down in the hospital bed with a mask over her face. Another clip showed the ultrasound scan of the baby.
Pregnant Stacey Solomon brands herself an 'old fogy' over NYE plans with JoeGeorgia also took a sweet snap with the doctors and nurses. The emotional video ended with Georgia and her partner Tommy - holding their child - screaming with joy during their gender reveal party. Georgia jumped and up down after pink confetti popped out from the balloon.
Fans were delighted with the news and rushed to the comment section to congratulate the star. One user said: "This is the best!!!! Goosebumps when I saw the balloon pop pink too! Perfect. Congratulations," while another commented: "Oh georg I’m sobbing! So happy for you! You deserve this and more. Love you always."
"Could not be happier for you both! Congratulations guys beautiful news after a tough journey, sending love," said one proud fan and another posted: "Congratulations babe how amazing so so so happy for you both." Earlier this year, Georgia opened up about losing her second child 12 weeks into her pregnancy last April.
She discovered it had triploidy, a rare condition where a baby’s cells have 69 chromosomes instead of the usual 46. It can happen when two sperm fertilise one egg and the life-threatening condition means babies could be stillborn, have severe congenital problems or would only survive a few hours. When doctors told her about the condition at 12 weeks, Towie star Georgia, 32, was advised, on medical grounds, to have a termination.
Georgia said to The Mirror about losing her baby: "Mentally it’s been hard because there are triggers constantly, especially in my age group. Everyone’s having babies and that’s lovely. It’s trying to navigate grieving. Being happy for other people but then being sad yourself at the same time."
