Lauryn Goodman has defiantly declared she won't be silenced after attending Kyle Walker's England game with their son.
The influencer, 33, has been locked in a paternity scandal with the England defender, 34, and his wife Annie Kilner, 33, after it was revealed he is the father to her young daughter. It was already confirmed that Kyle fathered a four-year-old son, Kairo, with the influencer.
Lauryn was spotted looking nervous in the crowd with her son during England's 1-1 draw with Denmark on Thursday while Annie was also present supporting her estranged husband. The influencer took to Instagram on Friday to break her silence on attending the game and explaining why she wanting to fly to Germany.
It's believed the England defender stopped being involved in the lives of his son and daughter that he shares with Lauryn when the paternity scandal broke earlier this year. On Instagram, Lauryn replied to a supportive fan, who wrote: "So so proud of you for going to that match...he's the one who's done wrong not you...wish I was as strong as you."
Lauryn replied: "@kairowalker honestly had the best day. That's all that matters," before adding in a further response: "As long as my children are happy that's all that matters."
Mirror Football's Premier League team of 2022 as champions dominate"He woke up this morning going, 'Mummy can we go again?'" Lauryn revealed before explaining her reasons for going to Germany. She said: All of your messages of support always mean the world to us! We have always loved sharing our journey with our Insta family.
"We all know how powerful a mother's fight can be for their little ones. I always have made it clear where I stand with my children. A lot of people would've buckled and hidden away from the pressure and noise of it all but I can't and won't do that to my children."
There could be further embarrassment in store for Kyle as a camera crew may have be on hand to capture Lauryn's every move while in Germany after the influencer signed up for a new reality series lifting the lid on life as a wag. It was previously reported that Lauryn believed the England defender wanted their son to watch him at the Euros.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: "Kyle and Lauryn aren’t speaking since Annie found out they have a daughter together too. But when they were, during the World Cup, it was Kyle who actually asked for Kairo to be at the Euros.
"Since that day, Kairo has been excited. What little lad wouldn’t be? Kairo shouldn’t have to watch his daddy playing for his country from a TV set in England — he deserves to be there. Kairo has been filling in a chart with football-shaped stickers. It is in his bedroom and he fills it in every night. Lauryn doesn’t encourage it — Kairo has been football mad since he was tiny." A source close to Kyle said previous reports he had wanted her to go and offered tickets were completely untrue.
They added: "Lauryn and her children are welcome to enjoy the games and to go to watch the matches if they want to, but we would question why she wants to do it in such a public way. Contrary to previous reports, Kyle has not offered Lauryn any tickets, the people supporting him in the ground are his wife Annie and their children."
In January, apologetic Kyle spoke honestly about his personal issues in an interview. At the time he said: “What I’ve done is horrible and I take full responsibility. I made idiot choices and idiot decisions. I can’t begin to think or imagine what Annie is going through."
He added: The only person to blame is me. I have roles and responsibilities that I’m aware of and I’ve made stupid choices. But I need to own up to my mistakes — I owe it to everyone. My actions have caused a lot of pain to a lot of people. I’m sorry because, as a family, this isn’t meant to happen.”
