Outnumbered mum and dad Sue and Pete Brockman fell in love on set in real life - and it left their on-screen kids lost for words... well, almost!
Actors Claire Skinner and Hugh Dennis are still together today after confirming it was love back in 2018, and of course the show's most chaotic kid had plenty to say on the matter. Daniel Roche, who played lively Ben in the BBC hit programme, claimed they've been 'at it' far longer than they made out.
Fans are thrilled with Outnumbered set to return this Christmas for a special and we get to see what happened next to the blood and many are only just remembering that years ago it was confirmed the parents actually got together for real and the cute love story is still going strong.
"They've been doing it for years, they've been going out for years. They are together, they're having a good time. It's all nice," he added. But after maybe getting a ticking off, sheepish Daniel later said: “I’d like to clear up some confusion. I seem to have been misquoted in the press. I never ever meant to suggest that Hugh and Claire had been in a relationship for years and I wouldn’t have done because it simply isn’t true."

Claire is mum to William, 25, and Henry, 22, and Hugh has two children with estranged wife Kate – Freddie, 27, and Meg, 25.

Hugh confirmed their relationship with Claire to the Mail, saying: "I am very, very happy, we are so very happy. It’s nice and yes, it's so lovely." They are reported to be living together in London. A friend told The Sun back in 2018: "They were going through marriage breakdowns at very similar times, but it was quite a while after their separations that they got together last year. They've always been really friendly but they were living their own lives until they were both single."
On Lorraine, Claire also spoke about how they would work together. She explained that the young actors who played the outlandish Brockman children were in full control on set. Claire said: "Everything was based around those kids so our whole day revolved around what they were able to do and that's how you do it.
"You cater towards the kids and they will give so much if you're kind to them and gentle with them." She and Hugh would let Tyger Drew-Honey (Jake), Daniel Roche (Ben) and Ramona Marquez (Karen) take the lead. Claire explained: "Hugh and I had to sort of take a back seat and let them go and then when they'd go home we'd do the more nuts and bolts stuff."
