New Liverpool boss Arne Slot will be aiming to make an instant impact at Anfield this summer.

Former Feyenoord star Yankuba Minteh has reportedly agreed terms with a mystery side amid interest from Liverpool. Previous reports suggested that the Reds could make a move with his parent club Newcastle open to selling the youngster.

Speaking to Chronicle Live, Bakary Bojang said: "It is correct that Newcastle are willing to sell the player if they receive a good offer. From our side if Newcastle wants to sell and the sporting project is good we will definitely look at it. We are in communication with some clubs."
He then added: "I can't confirm clubs who are in communication with us. We have agreed terms with one of the clubs. So now the rest is with Newcastle."
Minteh played under new Liverpool boss Slot with Dutch side Feyenoord.
Liverpool have reportedly made contact with Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot regarding a move to Anfield. The Frenchman is out of contract with the Italian side this summer.
As per SportItalia, Liverpool have already registered their interest in signing him. But they could face competition.
Real Madrid are also reportedly in the race for his services, with other Premier League sides interested. A new contract at Juventus has also not been ruled out.
