A BRITISH man has been “seriously injured” after falling from a first-floor balcony in Majorca.

Neighbours saw him leaning out of a window twice before he plunged to the ground head-first.

Pictures from the scene showed him on a stretcher before he was wheeled into an ambulance and rushed to hospital.

The 27-year-old was stabilised at the scene in Palma by emergency medical teams.

It was not immediately clear this morning if he was on holiday at the flat he fell from or if he lived at the address.

The alarm was raised just before midnight yesterday.

Cops are conducting an ongoing investigation into the fall, which is currently being treated as an accident.

In March last year a dad-of-two tragically died on his first holiday abroad in Spain when he fell from a balcony.

Less than a day before the incident, Dion had called his father to tell him "how wonderfully warm it was."

The year before a young Brit holidaying in Ibiza died after plunging from a hotel balcony on the party island.

The unnamed woman, 24, was with her boyfriend when she fell 30ft.

"It all happened very quickly," a source said.

They added: "Nothing had happened previously that might have alerted hotel staff to the fact there were any problems, noise in the room or things like that.

"The woman’s partner came rushing down to reception and that’s when police and paramedics were called."

And in August 2022 another British woman died after a mystery plunge from a four-star hotel in Mallorca.
