FORTNITE skins can be unlocked using the Fortnite in-game currency V-Bucks, or earned via in-game tasks.
They allow you to change the appearance of your character in the game — and even play as your favourite celebrities.

Billie Eilish
A Festival Pass can be purchased full of goods related to Billie Eilish, including two skins — Green Roots and Red Roots.
You can look like the singer by purchasing one of her skins in the item shop, and you can unlock a new style via the Festival Pass.
A number of Billie Eilish songs were also added to Fortnite Festival, and her skins arrived on April 23, 2024.

Eminem
Three new Eminem skins were released in the run-up to the rapper's Big Bang concert on December 2, 2023.
The first is Rap Boy, an outfit based on Eminem’s Robin-style outfit seen in the Without Me video.
It features an eye mask, green sweatpants, and a black and red jacket with an ‘E’ on it similar to Robin’s ‘R’ logo.
Rap Boy is one of the cheaper outfits and available for 1.5k V-Bucks.
The second outfit is called Slim Shady, and is named after Eminem’s previous rap persona.
Featuring his iconic bleach-blonde hair, a navy jacket and sweatpants, and a t-shirt based on the Kinky shirt he used to wear.
Slim Shady is a slightly more expensive outfit and will set you back 1.9k V-Bucks.
The Marshall Never More skin is more based on Eminem’s current look, with brown hair, and in a 1950s style suit.
Marshall Never More will cost you 1.5k V-Bucks but there are also other bundles that include items for slightly more.
A number of other items, like back blings and emotes, were released as part of the event.

Lewis Hamilton
Seven-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton is a fan of Fortnite.
When Epic Games learned about his interest in playing the game, they collaborated to bring the racer into the virtual world of Fortnite.
Notably, the skins are devoid of any Mercedes branding and instead embrace his fashion style.
Also making his gaming debut was Hamilton's bulldog Roscoe, who features in two of the gift items in the bundle.
Tom Holland & Zendaya
In a surprise reveal, the official Winterfest 2021 trailer announced that Tom Holland and Zendaya will reprise their roles as Spider-Man and Mary Jane in Fortnite.
After the release of Marvel Studios' Spider-Man: No Way Home, Fortnite added the MCU version of the skin.
It features four different outfit styles including Tom Holland himself, and Zendaya as Mary Jane.
The Spider-Man skins are available on Fortnite costing 1,500 V-Bucks each or 2,300 V-Bucks for the whole set.
Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak
The Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak skins were first available from February 7, 2022 by competing in the Silk Sonic Cup.
As well as the Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak outfits, the Silk Sonic set also includes accessories themed around the pair.
There's the Bruno Mars inspired Sound Scepter Pickaxe which is sold with the outfit, which seems to double as Back Bling.
And ohe Freedom Wheels Emote has your character "do a lil’ spin and do it again".
Meanwhile, Anderson .Paak fans can look forward to the Sonic Snare Back Bling (sold with the outfit) and the Boom Bap Pickaxe.
Both characters come with outfit variants, including a reactive style.
Dwayne Johnson
The Rock takes on the role of The Foundation in the organisation known as The Seven.
Compared to other skins available in Fortnite, only The Seven have a special, unique art style that is independent of real-life characters.
The goal for Dwayne's character, and the remaining Seven, is to stop IO from the trouble they are known to cause in the Nexus.
The Rock's character The Foundation will be playing as the Leader of The Seven.
Ariana Grande
Fans can buy the Ariana Grande skin in the Item Shop.
However, unlike most crossover skins, there’s no way to get the skin for free by competing in tournaments.
Ariana has her own quest involving hunting down information on the new monster invading the island — called the Caretaker.
To begin the questline players will need to first locate Ariana Grande.
You'll be able to find her walking up and down the pier at Believer Beach.
Ryan Reynolds
Fortnite and the movie Free Guy have come together to collaborate on a new skin based on Ryan Reynolds' character, Dude.
Although the title character Guy — who is also played by Ryan — isn't making an appearance as a playable character in Fortnite, his alter ego is available to purchase.
It's the second time that Ryan Reynolds has appeared in Fortnite, as Deadpool is available to play during Chapter 2 Season 2.
Harry Kane
England national football team captain Harry Kane made his way to Fortnite earlier in 2021.
Alongside Germany star Marco Reus, the Lions' goal machine was added as an Icon Series skin to mark the start of Euro 2020.
In 2021, Epic Games confirmed in a blog post: "On June 11 at 8pm ET, both players’ likeness will be available as separate Outfits or together in the Kane & Reus Bundle."
Neymar
Brazil footie icon Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior appeared with his own outfits, quests and rewards.
With him came loads of quests available, including:
- Talk to an Island soccer player
- Complete three quests from Island soccer players
- Complete five quests from Island soccer players
- Dropkick the soccer ball toy 500 metres as Neymar Jr
- Eliminate three opponents as Neymar Jr
Travis Scott
The Travis Scott skin is a character reskin in Fortnite that looks just like the rapper of the same name.
It was added as part of the Astronomical in-game event.
Scott premiered his new track at the time, as part of an "other-world experience" for players.
And the Travis Scott skin was just one of the items available in-game to promote the event.
Epic Games hasn't officially confirmed the return of the Travis Scott skin.
Originally players had to complete in-game challenges to acquire event items, but the skin itself has been removed.
However, Fortnite leaker HypeX claimed on Twitter in February 2021 that the skin could return.
