Shannen Doherty shared a heartbreaking update on her “unknown” battle with breast cancer.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 star was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer in 2020, and has updated her fans with regular posts about her health journey on social media as well as her podcast, Let’s be Clear. Since her diagnosis, Shannen has revealed the cancer has now spread to her brain and bones, and in her latest podcast episode, she candidly explained that she had no idea what was in store for her health over the coming months.
The Charmed actress told listeners she had been “going through a lot of health stuff”, and had recently started a new “exhausting” chemotherapy treatment. “It becomes very real in an incredibly different way, because I have no idea how long I'm gonna be on the chemo for,” she shared. “I have no idea if it's gonna be three months or if it's gonna be six months or if we're gonna… if after three months, it's not working, if we're gonna change again.”

Shannen sadly added: “I just feel like my life has been unknown for over a year now, between divorce and cancer.”

She reflected on her separation from Kurt, which has resulted in a bitter divorce battle, and admitted she was “betrayed” by her ex-husband's actions. “Obviously, divorce is not easy, especially when you really loved someone.

“There's so many different nuances that people will never understand. I don't understand why people find it so fascinating,” Shannen shared, as she revealed she may “never be ready to discuss the full details” of the breakdown of her marriage, as it’s “not the most pleasant thing.”
