WHILE many of us are delighted to finally see the return of the hot weather, for our beloved furry pets, the heat is not so fun.
So it's little surprise that dog owners have been rushing to Lidl after spotting a bargain buy that can help to keep them cool in the rising temperatures.
And not only is it just £2.49, but people are also saying it's the perfect purchase for all the family - kids included.
Liz Taylor took to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK and shared a snap of the 'Zoofari dog water sprinkler play mat' she found during a trip to her local branch.
Alongside the image, she penned: "Dogs love this found it in my Lidl today for £2.49!!"

The bargain buy, which is approximately 100cm in size, says it "provides dogs with a playful way to cool down."
You simply just connect a garden hose to the mat and fill it with water, making it super quick and easy to assemble.
It wasn't long before the post racked up quite the response, with many pointing out it's the ideal cheap solution to help keep everyone from dogs to kids cool in the summer months.
"We need to get this!" praised one social media user.
A second commented: "Might get one for my grandkids lol (& me of course)."
A third wrote: "Please see if they have it in your Lidl."
Meanwhile, a fourth noted: "This would be great for children."

It comes after Fabulous previously told how a mum was raving over a "great bargain" from Smyths toy store that's perfect for keeping kids cool.
Samantha Yates took to the same Facebook group and shared a snap of the Intex Crystaln Blue Paddling Pool she stumbled upon in a local store.
“Got this paddling pool for £7 from Smyths in Wigan in store," she penned.
She added: “There was loads.. there's a bigger one than this for £10.
“We got the smaller one just because we have a small garden.
“Not sure whether there's any online as we got it in store.
“It's fab for £6.99…we didn't realise how big it was.”
