Just off the coast of Croatia is a rather unusual heart-shaped island that is loved by Beyonce, Jay-Z, and Michael Jordan.
Galešnjak Island, also known as 'Lover's Island', was first noted for its unusual shape by Napoleon's cartographer Charles-François Beautemps-Beaupré, who included it in his 1806 atlas of the Dalmatian coast.
Little is known of its history prior to Beautemps-Beaupré's writings, but three Illyrian burial mounds have since been discovered on Galešnjak, alongside the foundations of an ancient building.

They told Reuters: "Beyoncé had her 39th birthday party on the islet and she’s there several days or even weeks every year, Michael Jordan was there last year, Jeff Bezos as well, there’s no lack of celebrities in that area."
Although there are no hotels, villas, or restaurants on Galešnjak, A-listers have been known to take yachts out to the island some idyllic summers away from bustling crowds.
However, you can still visit this geographical marvel even if you aren't a member of the super-rich with your own yacht, as a number of tours depart daily from Tkon, on the island Pašman.
Galešnjak Island also offers facilities for engagements and intimate wedding parties, offering a picturesque and romantic location for any couple's big day.
