Gary Lineker has reportedly pocketed a cool £125k for his Euro 2024 podcast despite ruffling the feathers of England players.
The former Three Lions frontman is part of a successful trio online alongside Micah Richards and Alan Shearer, who each feature on The Rest Is Football podcast.
The podcast has been running since the start of the 2023/24 campaign. But it has ramped up its output in recent weeks as Lineker and his pals analyse Euro 2024.
And it appears that the former Leicester and England striker has bolstered his bank balance in the process. According to an analysis by The Times, the pundit has earned £125,000 just from episodes during the Euros.
Advertisers have reportedly paid £45 per 1,000 views should Lineker or his colleagues mention their promotions - or £15 if they are simply associated with them. And a boom in views and listens has seen their earnings sky-rocket.

According to Lineker's son Harry, who produces the podcast, downloads have risen 62 per cent since the start of the Euros. Views on YouTube are also up an astounding 83 per cent.
The rise comes amid a vocal battle between Lineker and England captain Harry Kane. The former was highly critical of the Three Lions' showing against Denmark - slamming it as "s***".
Kane replied by claiming Lineker could potentially sympathise with the position the current Three Lions crop find themselves in. He said: "I would never want to be disrespectful to any player, especially a player who has worn the shirt and knows what it is like to play for England.

"But what ex-players who are pundits now have got to realise it is very hard not to listen to it now, especially for some players who are not used to it or some players who are new to the environment.
"I always feel like they have a responsibility – I know they have got to be honest and give their opinion but also they have a responsibility of being an ex-England player. The bottom line is we haven't won anything as a nation for a long, long time and a lot of these players were part of that as well and they know how tough it is."
Ironically, Lineker was a notable absentee on one of the more recent episodes of the podcast. Revealing the reason why, Shearer joked: "Gary is still sleeping in his bed, he still hasn't woken up so we'll just crack on without him Micah. He added: "To be early is to be on time, to be on time is to be late, and to be late is f***ing unacceptable, where are you Lineker?"
